Pingu’s Iceberg Cocoa

At the party Pingu asked everyone for fish. There is no fish here, but there are icebergs. Dark chocolate sauce lies at the bottom of the glass, and the ice cubes float on top.

Das kommt rein

  • Basic hot cocoa recipe (see above), cooled
  • 4 tbsp chocolate sauce
  • 10 to 12 ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp whipping cream or cold milk

Das brauchst du

small pot, whisk, jug, 2 large glasses, 2 straws.

So wird’s gemacht

  1. Make the cocoa following the basic recipe and chill it in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  2. Put 2 tbsp chocolate sauce into each glass.
  3. Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
  4. Slowly pour the cold cocoa over it so the sauce stays at the bottom.
  5. Add a splash of cream on top, put in a straw and stir before drinking.

DÖs Tipp: Ice cubes made from cocoa instead of water don’t make the cocoa watery.
